John A. Tortora of Whitefield, NH formerly of the North End, and Roxbury passed away on July 18, 2026. Beloved son of the late Anthony and Louise (Spagnuolo) Tortora. Devoted father of Lisa Tortora of Londonderry, NH, Anthony Tortora of Nashua, NH, and Dina Tortora and her husband Adam Moses of Goffstown, NH. Dear brother of Dolores Houghton of RI, Carmen Tortora of NH, and Camille Tortora of West Roxbury. Loving grandfather of Jennifer Handrahan, Adam Moses and his wife Maddie, and Kayla Moses. Great grandfather of Gianna Owens. Godfather of Julie Tortora and her son Dante Johnson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 24th in St. Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre St., West Roxbury, at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Private.
