Ruggiero Ricci, age 60, of Medford passed away on Sunday, July 19th. Born in Sulmona, Italy, he was the son of the late Pietro and Maria Ricci. Ruggiero came to the U.S. in 1970 when his family settled in Boston’s North End. He later moved to Medford and was employed as a chef.
Ruggiero was predeceased by his wives Jane (Colella) and Laura (Maloney). He was the dear brother of Guerriero Ricci and his wife Rina of Medford, Mario Ricci and his wife Cathy of West Palm Beach, FL, Michael Ricci of Stoneham and his late wife Brenda, and Luciano Ricci of Andover and his former wife Antoniette. Ruggiero was the cherished uncle of Peter Ricci and his wife Maria, Fabio Ricci and his wife Myranda, Nikita Ricci and her wife Marie, Daniela Iudiciani and her husband Franco, and Nico Ricci, and grand uncle of Stefano and Milo.
A funeral service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, July 25th at 4 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 2 to 4 PM. Interment will be private.
