Edwin S. Holmes, 74, died July 19, 2026 at Elliot Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Laconia, NH. on April 21, 1952 the son of Sumner and Jeanne (Parker) Holmes.
He had lived in Tuftonboro and Rowley prior to residing in Londonderry.
Before his retirement he had been employed as an IT Director for Hardware Specialty.
Family members include his wife, Diane (Demers) Holmes of Londonderry, two sons, Adam and Danielle (Cunningham) Holmes of Kingston, Robert Holmes of Londonderry, daughter, Lisa Holmes and Andrew Gibson of Manchester, four grandchildren, Riley Holmes, James, Josephine, Lilliane Gibson, brother, Bruce and Ratda Holmes of Alton, nieces, Deborah Pohl, Christine Holmes, Patricia Holmes, and his dog, Emma.
A memorial reception will take place on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Edwin's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
