Annie St. Martin, 76, passed away peacefully at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center on July 16, 2026.
Born on July 1, 1950, in Rhode Island, Annie spent much of her life embracing the beauty of New England before relocating to Florida with her beloved husband, Marc. No matter where she lived, Rhode Island always held a special place in her heart. She cherished its coastline, finding peace and inspiration in the ocean's beauty.
Annie was a gifted artist whose paintings reflected the people and places she loved most. Whether capturing beloved family pets, treasured landscapes, or meaningful memories on canvas, her artwork was one of the many ways she shared her love with those around her. She also found great joy in gardening, creating beauty wherever she planted flowers. Annie had a lifelong love of animals and especially adored the many pets who were part of her family over the years.
Family was at the heart of Annie's life. She found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by those she loved, creating lasting memories that will be cherished for generations. Annie will be remembered for her creativity and wonderfully silly sense of humor. Her warmth, kindness, and love will remain with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Annie is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Marc St. Martin; her parents, Alice and George O'Reilly Sr.; her sister, Patricia Smith; her brother, Mark O'Reilly; her father-in-law, Clarence St. Martin; and her nephew, Matthew St. Martin.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Katherine Peloquin and her husband, Michael; her son, James St. Martin and his wife, Amanda; her cherished grandchildren, Victoria Mahoney, Marc St. Martin, and Tyler St. Martin; her treasured great-grandson, George Mahoney; her brothers, George O'Reilly and his wife, Robin, and Kevin O'Reilly and his wife, Laura; her brother-in-law, Michael Smith; her mother-in-law, Muriel St. Martin; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Annie's legacy lives on through the beauty she created, the love she freely gave, and the family she cherished above all else. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she painted into the lives of those she loved will remain forever.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 28th at 10:00 am at St. Michael's Church in Smithfield with a reception to follow at Greenville Public Library. Throughout the month of July, Annie's artwork is on display at the Greenville Public Library, where family and friends are welcome to visit and celebrate the beautiful talent she shared with so many.
