Richard (Richie) Peres passed away on july 5, 2026. Richie was well known in the Methuen Lawrence area for his musical talent as well as his martial arts.He was also an animal lover who had numerous dogs and cats throughout his life that he cared deeply for.
Concidered the best martial artist in the area Richard will be missed by his many friends and students he taught over the years. He was also a well known musician who played congas, timbales and traps. Playing in bands such as Hombre’, M’Taboo , starting the band Tight Squeeze. Richie was a self-educated man with a desire to learn and expand his knowledge. He was always lookin to gain more wisdom to improve himself and his health.
To those that knew Richie he was known as a private man. In honor or his privacy there will be no public services but a private Celebration of Life at the home of Mike Sioufi and Dr. Debra Sioufi on Sioufi Road in Marshfield, Vermont. We are honored to say that our brother Richie will be to put to rest on the rolling mountains of our homestead. In lieu of flowers contributions to the local animal shelter of your choice in his name would be appreciated.
