BRIDGEWATER - Marjorie A. Grover, a 40 year resident of Bridgewater, died on Sept. 20, 2006, at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was 80 years old.
Born in Medford, she was raised in the Greenwood section of Wakefield. She was also educated in Wakefield.
She was a homemaker who helped raise many foster children over the years.
In her later years, she worked as a return inspector at Swank in Taunton for 7 years, retiring in 1986.
She enjoyed bingo, crossword Puzzles, knitting & playing cards.
She was the beloved wife of the late Augustine A. Grover; mother of George Grover of Florida, Carroll West of CA, George A. Grover & Gary Grover, both of Virginia Beach, VA., Gregg Grover of Tacoma, WA., Cynthia Burch of Bridgewater, Kimberly Stuart of Bailyville, ME., Terri Grover of MA., Michelle Corcoran of East Bridgewater & the late William Grover; sister of Barbara Keyes of Wakefield & the late Emma Almeida & Edgar Malone. Also survived by 12 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, 9/22/06, from 5-8 pm in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St.(Rte. 18), Bridgewater. Funeral & burial will be private.
