Obituary

Christian A. Ieronimo Sr., 51, of Yarmouth, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on March 20, 2026.

Born with a smile that could light up any room and a laugh that invited everyone around him to join in, Chris had a gift for making people feel welcome. He lived with a generous heart, an easygoing spirit, and a genuine kindness that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether you knew Chris for a lifetime or only a moment, he left an impression that stayed with you.

A proud United States Army Veteran, Chris served his country with honor. He was also a devoted fan of all New England sports teams, cheering passionately in good seasons and bad. Creativity was one of his quiet strengths—he found joy and healing in writing poetry and making music, often pouring his heart into every word and note.

Chris loved deeply and laughed often. His life was defined not by material accomplishments, but by the connections he made and the compassion he freely offered. His humor, warmth, and unwavering loyalty will live on in the countless lives he touched.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Ieronimo.

He is lovingly survived by his mother, Robin Sprague, stepfather Gary Sprague, his children Christian Ieronimo Jr. and Adyson Ieronimo, his sister Jennifer Sorensen, his stepbrother Dennis Ieronimo Jr., his nephew Zachary Sorensen, and his grandmother Helen Miragliotta. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, extended family members, and numerous friends who became family over the years.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will continue to shine through all who knew him. Chris will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24th at 12:45 p.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, MA.
