Barbara Leonarda Leivas
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful friend passed away on Thursday July 2, 2026.
She was born November 6, 1931 in Camarillo, California. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry, who passed away in 2003, and her beloved daughter Linda who passed away in 2019.
Barbara is survived by her son Larry Jr., and daughters Jeanine, Barbara, Susan, Kathy, Lorry, Frances, and Patsy. She was the sister of John and Gloria; 27 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren, that brought great joy to her life.
Barbara will be remembered for her courage and strong loving caring spirit. Barbara owner and operated a flower shop for 20 years where she met many people and developed friendships with her customers. She touched the lives of many with compassion, caring, and love.
Family and friends are invited a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00am Monday July 13, 2026 at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 3175 Telegraph Road Ventura. Family will receive and visit guests at a viewing in Church to preced Mass from 10am to 11am in Church. Interment will immediately follow Mass at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park. Ventura. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street, Ventura.
