Jeffrey John Wood, 60, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, July 3, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Wood was born March 26, 1966, in Macon, Georgia, to the late John Henry, Jr. & Betty Mae Jordan. He loved riding four wheelers, his bike, fishing and smoking his tobacco pipe. Mr. Wood attended Abba Baptist Church.
He is survived by a brother, John Christopher Wood and a sister, Laura Ellen Taylor & Morgan Lee Taylor, all of Fitzgerald; two nephews: Kendel C. Hodges & Amanda and Codey Taylor & Hillary and great nieces and great nephews: Tyler, Ethan, Hadlee Hodges, Bentley Sanford and Bryson Brady. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Samuel Joseph Hodges.
