
Raymond “Ray” Edward Niedbala, 75, of Millis formerly of Medway died July 3 at Milford Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was the husband of Wanda (Marshall) Niedbala for the past 52 years.
Born in Framingham, February 24, 1951, the son of the late Joseph E. and Katherine A. (Grici) Niedbala, Ray was raised in Medway and had lived in Millis for the past 47 years.
Ray was a graduate of Medway High School and also a graduate of Newbury College.
Ray had been a police officer for Amtrak for 40 years before retiring.
He enjoyed spending summers in Maine and following the local sports teams.
Ray was a talented woodworker and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Andrea Wolloff and her husband Gabriel of Westminster and Mark Niedbala and his wife Kristen of Walpole.
He is also survived by his brother Richard Niedbala and his wife Anette of Allendorf, Germany and was the brother of the late Ronald Niedbala.
Ray is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley, Makayla, Cameron, Ryan and Rachel.
His funeral service will be private.
