Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Scott Michael Macpherson, formerly of Cambridge, on June 21, 2026.

Scott was the cherished son of the late Robert "Bubba" Macpherson and the late Barbara (Doucette) Macpherson. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him in their hearts, including his sisters, Patricia Brown of Beverly and Tammy Brown-Perez of San Francisco, and his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Macpherson of Marlborough and Shawn Macpherson of Salem.

Scott took great pride in his career as a union laborer and scaffolder. He genuinely loved his work and was grateful for the many lifelong friendships he built along the way. He was known for his kind heart, easygoing nature, and the loyalty he showed to those fortunate enough to call him a friend.

Outside of work, Scott found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time on his boat, trying his luck with lottery tickets, and never missed his daily Dunkin’ Ice coffee. Some of his happiest moments were spent with family and friends at ball games, cheering on his beloved Boston Red Sox and his favorite team, the New England Patriots.

Though Scott faced health challenges throughout his life, he met them with remarkable strength, determination, and courage. He was a true fighter who refused to let adversity define him. He greeted others with a warm smile, gentle spirit, beautiful blue eyes, and a soft-spoken voice that reflected his kind and caring nature.

Scott also took pride in his appearance. Whether dressed casually or for a special occasion, he always looked his best with a perfectly coordinated outfit. His signature style included gold jewelry in the winter and silver jewelry in the summer—a reflection of his attention to detail and unique personality.

Scott's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, Scotty. Until we meet again, you will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and profoundly missed.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to celebrate Scott's life on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Framingham.

An intimate family burial will be held at Cambridge Cemetery, where Scott will be laid to rest beside family who went before him.
