Mr. Ronald B. Drauschke, a lifelong resident of Medford, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Monday morning, June 22, 2026. He was 76 years old.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts on May 29, 1950, he was the beloved son of the late Paul W., Jr. and Constance E. (Browne) Drauschke.
Ronald was employed as the Manager of the Tuft’s University Mail Room, for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR, going deep sea fishing and taking long roadtrips. He also loved spending his summers in Boothbay Harbor. Ronald will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his best friend, Kaiser, a two year old cocker spaniel, as well as his loving brothers; Paul W. Drauschke of Saco, Maine and Frederick M. and his wife Barbara J. Drauschke of Melrose and niece and nephews; Kurt, Mark, Craig, Erik and Kristy. He was also the brother of the late Carl B. Drauschke and Elizabeth A. Burns and brother-in-law of the late Kenneth Burns and Yvonne Drauschke.
His funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 4 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service from 2 to 4 PM. Interment will be privately held.
