Dad, (Pete) lived a full life with travel, experiences and lots of stories. He may have come off as a "man who marched to the beat of his own drum" but did so with such love and compassion for others. He always showed such kindness to everyone. He never met a stranger.

His passions were his siblings, children and grandchildren. Though he enjoyed his motorcycles, motorcycle rallys, being outdoors and good music of all genres. He passed many of his hobbies down to his children and grandchildren.

One of my fondest memories is his love for small restaurants and cafes. He seemed to always find one anywhere we traveled. He had to have that breakfast and coffee before the day started. This is something I still love to date. A good breakfast and slow morning to start the day.

Dad (Pete) was known for his strong will and determination. His never give up attitude. He would always find a way. He tried to stay as positive about life as he could be. His favorite phrase was “I’m hanging in there, I can't complain.” Something we will never forget.

A quote I hold deeply and I feel fits dad is...
"Two roads diverged in a wood, I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference"
Robert Frost

I feel dad taught us that even when life gets hard, our path may seem blocked never settle or give up, there will always be a path and that path may not be the same as everyone else.

Dad (Pete) will leave moments in everyone's heart we will never forget. Moments filled with love, kindness, and happiness. He will be loved and missed deeply.
