Michael Lee Hubbard, 67, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Hubbard was born May 29, 1959, in Jellico, Tennessee, to the late Joe Hubbard, Jr. & Flossie Mae Roberts Hubbard. He was a former employee of Frito Lay and retired from Oak Leaf Village in Toledo, Ohio. He liked gardening, loved to fish, hunt and being outdoors. Mr. Hubbard’s passion was working with his hands and building things. He and his wife, Theresa were in the process of renovating their home. He attended Prospect Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Theresa Jane Muir Hubbard of Fitzgerald; a daughter, Michelle & Greg Yarick of Temperance, Michigan; stepchildren: Kali & Jon Gomez of Madison Heights, Michigan, Kurt Grossman of Cleveland, Ohio, Kevin Grossman of Cleveland, Ohio; grandchildren: Rylen Yarick, Kaeden Yarick, Kynsleigh Yarick, Brady Gomez, Adalyn Gomez, Jaxon Gomez and Harlo Gomez; a brother, Joe Hubbard, III and an uncle, Howard Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Dora Jean Hubbard and Deborah Soper.
