Georgette D. Duarte, 69, of Smithfield Road, North Providence, passed away on June 19th in the Fatima Hospital, North Providence.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Jorge and Charlotte (Azevedo) Duarte. She had lived in Providence for many years.
she loved spending time with her family and playing cards especially Rummy.
She leaves her sons, Jason Joyce and his wife Cindy of Greenville, Jermaine Duarte of Providence. She was the grandmother of Noah Joyce, Austin Joyce, Jermaine Duarte, Jr., and Tyrese Robertson. She was the sister of Amy Young of Apopa, FL. She was the grandmother of the late Kyle Joyce and sister of the late Candida Colon.
Her funeral will be held at 10am on Tuesday June 30th in the Mount Hope Community Baptist Church, 734 Hope St, Providence, RI. Her burial will be held in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation respectfully omitted.
