John Charles Richmond

John C Richmond, 77 passed away on Sunday May 31, 2026. He was born in Dedham Ma to Lawrence and Marie Richmond on June 11. John was employed as an Electrician at IBEW Local 103. He married Susan M Richmond on September 6, 1970. John and Susan were married 54 years before her passing on April 12, 2025.
John is predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Marie Richmond, his wife Susan Richmond and her parents Phillip and Bernadyne Placentino.
John is survived by his children Nicole Richmond, John D. Richmond, Michael Richmond and his husband Ryan Thompson, and his granddaughter Lila Gentes. Along with his siblings, Larry and Gail Richmond and their children Michelle and Laura, Chuck and Nancy Richmond and their children Jen an d Katie, Fran and Karen Richmond, and Sandra and Bob Don and their children David, Andrew and Jason. Along with the Placentino side, Nancy Placentino, Stephen and Terri Placentino and their children Stephen and Laura, Jane and Carl Bonvini and their children Adrienne and Anthony, Paul and Jaime Placentino, Peter and Lori Placentino, and Susan and Phillip Placentino and their children Lisa, Phillip and Jason.
John loved fishing, anything outdoors, keeping his yard and gardens looking good, and spending time with his children and granddaughter. He will be severely missed by family and friends near and far.
Funeral Mass will be held on June 20th, 2026 at St. Mary’s church, 420 High St, Dedham Ma 02026 at 4pm.
