Mary Belle Gibbs Harrell, 93, of Brookfield passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Harrell at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Mark Myers will officiate.
Born May 4, 1933, in Tift County, Mrs. Harrell was the daughter of the late Elbert Reason Gibbs and Mary Lou Owen Gibbs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Harrell; and seven siblings, Eugene Gibbs, Reba Ontano, Norma Pidgeon, Odelle Abell, Frances Munro, Betty Potts, W. C. Gibbs and Aubrey Gibbs. She graduated from Tifton High school and travelled all over the world with her husband.
Mrs. Harrell is survived by two sisters, Hilda Davis of Brookfield and Ann Roberts of Albany; and many nieces and nephews.
