Martin John Vaznaian, 83, of Derry, NH, died Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. He was born on March 17, 1943, in Woonsocket, RI, a son of John and Rose (Castaldi) Vaznaian. Marty worked for various clubs in Boston's Combat Zone in the 60's. He later worked for NH Exteriors. Marty enjoyed sports and he loved hard rock music and the Blues music. He especially loved animals and spoiled any animal he came near. He was also a former usher for St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
He is survived by his ex-wife and caregiver, Susan Conroy, his brother Douglas Vaznaian (Elma), his niece Francisca Rose Vaznaian, his sister Joyce Smith. He is also survived by his stepchildren Paul Pelletier (Kelly), Christine Ward (Anthony), Michele Emanuelson (Chris) and John Pelletier, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:30pm to 6:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Catholic prayer service will follow at 6:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be at 10:00am on Tuesday June 16th at the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry.
