With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Adebayo "B-" (Bayo) Talabi on June 7, 2026. Bayo was the most loving and devoted husband, long before he ever became a husband on paper. He shared nearly five years with the love of his life, Regina, and from the very beginning, their connection was undeniable. They often described themselves as Ying and Yang—different in many ways, yet perfectly balanced together.
When Bayo stepped into Regina's life, he also stepped into the life of her son, Tayvian Pucci. From the very beginning, he embraced the role wholeheartedly. He invested his time, energy, guidance, and unconditional love into their relationship, never treating Tayvian as anything less than his own. Bayo loved him completely and was proud to be a father figure in his life. The moment Bayo and Regina met, they fell in love, and that love remained the center of their lives. Bayo was the light in every room he entered. He had a gift for talking to anyone and making them feel like a friend. Everywhere he went, someone seemed to know him, and if they didn't know him when he arrived, they usually did by the time he left. He had friends everywhere and a personality that naturally drew people in.
A passionate sports fan, Bayo rarely missed a Celtics game. Some of his favorite moments were spent gathered with friends, cheering on his team and enjoying the camaraderie that meant so much to him. Bayo also loved to cook. He was known for his incredible fried chicken and unforgettable ribs on the grill. Friends eagerly awaited summer cookouts, knowing that Bayo would be at the grill creating meals that brought everyone together. He was a man of deep passion. If Bayo cared about something, he gave it everything he had. He could be stubborn and hard-headed, but those who knew him best understood that those traits came from his fierce determination and unwavering heart. When Bayo loved, he loved completely.
People will remember Bayo for the joy he brought into their lives. They will remember his singing, his dancing, his jokes, and his ability to brighten even the darkest day. Perhaps nothing showed Bayo's strength more than his battle with cancer. He fought with incredible courage and determination. Every obstacle placed before him, he met head-on. Even as the disease took more and more from him, Bayo never stopped fighting. He faced each challenge with strength, resilience,
and a refusal to give up. He fought tooth and nail until the very end. Bayo's light and presence will be deeply missed, especially by his wife, Regina, and his son, Tayvian. He was such a huge part of their everyday lives, and his absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled. From the simplest daily moments to life's biggest milestones, Bayo was always there with his love, his laughter, and his unwavering support. He will be missed more than words can ever express and loved for all eternity.
Bayo is survived by his wife, Regina Pucci; his son, Tayvian Pucci; his mother, Shirley Talabi (Hendricks); his father, Olawale Talabi; his stepmother, Honey's Mom; his stepfather, Henry; his mother-in-law, Mary Pucci; his sister, Yemi Talabi-Oates; his brother-in-law, Christopher Talabi-Oates; his niece, Skyler Steadman; his nephew, Christopher "CJ" Talabi-Oates, Jr.; his niece, Olivia Talabi-Oates; his sister-in-law, Alicia Armes; his brother-in-law, Brandon Armes; his nephew, Alex Hersh, and his partner, Abby; his niece, Maddison Armes; his nephew, Chase Armes; a very special loved one, Mama Lawson, a woman Bayo loved dearly and considered family; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, James "Boo" Hendricks; his father-in-law, Franko Pucci; and his beloved dog, Sasha, who was truly his world.
Those who knew Bayo find comfort in imagining that he is now reunited with his faithful companion once again. Bayo will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
