Shannon Harper, 44, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
Shannon was born September 15, 1981 in Somerset, New Jersey, to George and Gail Donnelly. She was a 1999 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. She worked for Polar Beverages and loved spending time with her family. Shannon enjoyed reading and collecting all different kinds of trinkets, spending time outside and on the beach, and doing crafts. She was incredibly caring, selfless, and supportive, as well as smart, funny, and perseverant. She was an amazing mother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by Steven Harper of Fitzgerald; Children: Kain Hair and Emily Harper; Mother: Gail Donnelly; Brother: Barry and Brandie Donnelly; Sisters: Megan Fountain and Melissa & Ben Rathburn; along with six nephews and two nieces: Caleb & Mackenzie Rathburn, Austin O'Neil, Gage Donnelly, Shad Fountain, Summer Fountain, Dylan Thompson, and Cole Rathburn.
