Kathleen Susan McAuliffe, born Jan. 6, 1950, passed away suddenly on May 27, 2026 after a brief decline in health.
She is survived by her sister Cynthia Reardon of Pembroke, her brother Christopher McAuliffe and his wife MaryBeth of Rockland.
Although Kathleen never had children of her own, she loved her five nephews very much.
After graduating Weymouth High School in 1967, she worked as a secretary in Boston, then at Millard Metal in Braintree, and lastly at the ARC of the South Shore, where she continued to work until just five months ago. She loved her job and never seemed to consider retirement.
Kathleen was a peaceful soul. She enjoyed the wonders of nature, especially birds and flowers.
She embodied kindness, never raising her voice in anger. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is at peace now. Thank you for your thoughts & prayers.
