Leona Marie Scott, of West Roxbury Ma, passed away suddenly on May 28, 2026. She was surrounded by her family and close friends. Leona was a loving mother to Ryan Scott and Trina Oreto both from West Roxbury, Leona was a loving, devoted daughter of James Greenlaw and the late Dolores Scott. Leona was the second oldest of seven children. She was predeceased in death by her brothers, James Scott of Norwood, Troy Scott, and Sean Scott of West Roxbury. She was survived by three sisters, Gloria Greenlaw Shapiro and her husband Jeff Shapiro, Lisa Scott of West Roxbury, and Robin Scott Berry and her husband Michael Berry of Florida. Leona also left behind nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and many close friends.
Leona was passionate, warm and kind. She loved the outdoors, and treasured the moments spent with her family and Friends. Her absence from this world will be deeply felt by many.
As requested by Leona, there will be a private service with the release of her ashes in the upcoming weeks.
