The enjoyment of being in the car with his family was what truly mattered. Along the way he and mom loved to tell the old stories of his younger years with his family and friends. Great memories were made during many camping trips to New Hampshire. The trips would often include aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Charles fell in love at a young age with his wife Ruby who was his whole life, his love for his wife was deep, and never wavering. He was a devoted husband and loving father. He delighted in spending his time with family and friends.
