With heavy hearts, but faith in God’s eternal promise, we announce the passing of Olga
(Venante) Edmond, who entered peacefully into eternal rest on May 26, 2026, at the age of 72.
Venante was born on December 23, 1953, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and lived a life
rooted in faith, love, compassion, and devotion to family. She was a faithful servant of
God whose kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. Through every season
of life, Venante trusted in the Lord and found joy in caring for others, offering wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love.
Venante attended school in Croix-des-Missions, Haiti. At the age of 20, she moved to
Martinique, where she met the love of her life, Micles (Pierre M. Edmond), through their
church community. United by their faith, they were married by Pastor Gourdet. Together
they began building a family and were blessed with three children: Azer, Linda, and
Mirielle. They later moved to the United States and settled in Boston, Ma where they
welcomed their fourth child, Lidy.
Venante was a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and a treasured member of her
community. She found peace in prayer, strength in faith, and happiness in spending time in the presence of her family.
Venante is survived by her loving children: her son, Azer; and her daughters, Linda, Mirielle, and Lidy. She is also survived by her cherished niece, Claudine; her nephews, Orbed, Jeff, Alex,
and Matthew; her daughter-in-law, Lunie; her adored grandchildren, Jordan, Jonathan,
Terrence, Jason, Bryan, Genesis, Jayden, Xavier, and Zemira; and her siblings, Vanes, Olga, Esai, Martha, Jonathan, and Paul.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Micles (Pierre M. Edmond), in 2014.
While our hearts mourn this earthly loss, we take comfort in knowing that Venante now
rests in the loving arms of the Lord. Her legacy of faith, love, strength, and devotion will
continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewig hour on Saturday June 13, 2026 from 9-10 AM followed by a Religious Service from 10-12 PM in Evangelical Mount Olives Bapyist Church, 1285 Hyde Park Ave, Hyde Park, MA. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA.
