Robert J. DiGiorgio, "Bob," age 85, passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2026. He was born in Medford, MA, son of the late Rocco and Giovanna "Nina" (Trodella) DiGiorgio. For many years he lived in North Reading, MA, Cape Neddick, ME and Marco Island, FL.
Bob was an owner at Bob's Italian Foods of Medford for over 40 years, served on the board of the Depositors Trust Company in Lexington, MA and sponsored local youth enrichment programs. He was known for his passionate devotion to family, pride in his business, congenial way with everyone and his contagious laughter.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Edie, son Robert DiGiorgio and his husband Andrew Alexander, son Michael DiGiorgio and his wife Jessica, daughter Carla Baker and her husband John. He was the loving grandfather of Amelia, Madeline, and Charlotte. Brother of Ronald DiGiorgio and his wife Diane, and the late Linda DiGiorgio. He is further survived by many other family members and dear friends who will sadly miss him.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Wednesday, June 3rd, from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 4th, at St. Raphael Church 516 High St., Medford, at 10 a.m. (Please go directly to the church). Interment services will be private.
