Lori Ann Contillo, 65, of Ledge Road, Lincoln, passed away Monday May 25th in the Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of Anthony Contillo. They had been married for 41 blissful years. Lori was an Angel on earth and now she's an Angel in heaven.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Alfred L. and Joan C. (Martin) Desautel, she had lived in Lincoln for 35 years, previously living in Providence. She had been a consumer aide at the Fogarty Center for many years before retiring.
Lori loved the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, family and friends, the beach, arts and crafts, antiques, the casino, expresso martinis, cold beer, flowers, coffee, turtles and having a good time. Everyone that she came in contact with could feel the positive energy coming from her.
Besides her husband she leaves her children, Andrea Contillo of Lincoln and Anthony A. Contillo of North Providence, her four sisters, Catherine R. Stoddard of North Carolina, Michelle Norberg of Exeter, Denise Therrien of Pawtucket and Danielle Foster of Coventry.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday June 2nd at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am in St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in Highland Park in Johnston. Visitation will be Monday, June 1st 4-7pm.
