Lorraine Nicotera Kaplan 91
A long time resident of Quincy, passed away, peacefully, on April 27, 2026, at South Shore Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.
Loving mother of Wendy Whalen and her husband, Joseph Whalen, the late Paul Kaplan, Rhonda
Linscott and her husband, Gary Linscott, Tracy Kaplan, Lorraine(Lorry) Miner and her late husband, Mark
Miner And the late David Kaplan.
She was the youngest of 13 children and the last survivor.
Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren.
Devoted grandmother of 22 great grandchildren.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Our mother was a beautiful and vibrant woman. She was smart and witty and had a bit of a sharp
tongue. She loved to do thousand piece puzzles and frame them and also do crosswords, soduku and all
kinds of cards and games. She had an eye for decorating as well.
She was a former employee of Bernie's General Store.
