
Christopher “Todd” Schofill, 59, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. Todd will be laid to rest at Metts Cemetery in Alapaha. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Greg Nelson, Jim Dunn, Garrison Jones, Tony Coleman, Eddie Smith and Gogie Flancher will serve as pallbearers.
Born June 28, 1966, in Brunswick, Todd was the son of the late John Henry Schofill, Sr. and Vera Mae Flancher Schofill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Henry Schofill, Jr.; and one sister, Valerie “Lynn” Schofill. He was of the Baptist faith.
Todd lived life fully and on his own terms. He loved to travel and experienced many places around the world throughout his life. He had a passion for fast cars, fishing, and working with his hands. Todd was the kind of man who could fix just about anything. He was a jack of all trades, master of none, full of stories, humor, and determination.
Above all else, Todd loved his family. His greatest joy was being a father and grandfather. Those who knew and loved him will remember his sense of humor, his adventurous spirit, and the lasting memories he created with the people closest to him.”
Todd leaves behind to cherish his memory his eldest son and daughter-in-law, CJ and Amber Schofill; and his twins, Hayley and Hunter Schofill, all of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Edsel and Kelli Schofill; one sister, Kimberly Schofill and Alex Herrera; two grandchildren, Riley Schofill and Finley Schofill; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the funeral home to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses.
