
Antonio Carlos
Antonio Carlos, 87, of Lowell, passed away peacefully at his home on May 25, 2026, due to complications from Dementia. He was the beloved husband of the late Teresa Borba Carlos, who predeceased him in 2024 after 58 years of marriage.
Born on July 3, 1938, in Sao Jorge, Azores, Portugal, Antonio was the son of the late Francisco Esparnca Carlos and Belmira Silveira Carlos. He emigrated to the United States in 1966, settling in the Back Central section of Lowell before moving to Pawtucketville with his family.
Antonio was a devoted father to his son, David Carlos, and his fiancée, Lynn, both of whom cared for him passionately in his final years.
A devoted parishioner of St. Anthony's Parish in Lowell, Antonio also served in the Portuguese military and volunteered for many events at Holy Ghost Park and other Portuguese American organizations. He enjoyed gardening, making wine, and fishing. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend who took great pride in his culture, faith, and family.

You are welcome to attend his visitation on Friday May 29, 2026 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA 01852.
