GILFORD ---- Joseph A. Teichert, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, 66, at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH.
Joseph was born on March 22, 1960 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late Juozas and Patricia (Bauba) Teichert.
Joseph will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit as a self-employed business owner in the human services industry. Having spent most of his life in New Hampshire, Joseph found great joy in golfing, landscaping, supporting New England sports teams and being outdoors whenever he could. Despite facing challenges with health in his later years, he remained dedicated to his work and his family.
Joseph proudly served in the United States Navy, reflecting his commitment to his country and the values of service and honor.
Joseph is survived by his children; Bethany and her wife Courtney Teichert, Abigail Teichert and her significant other Michael Ferguson, Timothy and his wife Cyn Wood, Gregory Wood and his significant other Hanna Weed, and Samuel and his wife Abigail Wood, his children’s mother; Judee Teichert, his grandchildren; Joshua Wood, Oliver Wood, Thomas Wood, Ella Wood, Maisie Wood, Alex Nelson, and Julius Nelson, his siblings; Mary Bolduc, John Teichert, and Diana and her husband Arwid Mattes, his nephews; Jonathan Belfontaine, Justin Belfontaine, and Alexander Mattes, his great-nephews Noah Belfontaine, Julian Belfontaine, and Gabriel Belfontaine, and his great-niece Olivia Belfontaine. He was predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law James Bolduc.
A Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
