Demery, Mark S. “Mac,” 56, of Dorchester, MA, passed away peacefully at his residence at The Boston Home on May 20, 2026, following a brief battle with cancer. Mac was predeceased by his father, George “Buddy” Demery. He is lovingly survived by his mother, Virginia "Ginny" Demery; his sisters, Sarah and Elisabeth; relatives Thomas and Martha DuHamel, Robert and Rhonda Martin; and his close “brother,” Doug Randall.
Mac cherished the close-knit community he found at The Boston Home, enjoyed watching movies with his mother, and was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan. He will be remembered for the connections he made, the love he shared, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
