
DUDLEY – Antoni Jaskolski, 85, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 in UMass Memorial Healthcare, Worcester in the presence of his family. His wife of 23 years, Theresa M. (Jaskolski) Jaskolski, died in 1995.
He leaves a daughter, Paula-Jean Lamoureux and her husband Theodore of Somerset, KY; a son, Edward A. Jaskolski and his wife Kristina of Hudson; a grandson, Nathan Johnson and his wife April of Honesdale, PA; 4 great-grandchildren, Ivy, Kyra, Isaiah and Gabriel; a brother Zygmunt Jaskolski and a sister, Lidia Chorowska both in Poland; a special nephew and niece Jarek Jaskolski and Theresa Bober who he welcomed from Poland into his home as his own children; many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his 4 brothers Wotek, Victor, Marian and Eugeniusz and by a sister Helena Laskowska.
He was born in Gierwaty, Poland on January 15, 1941, a son of Boleslaw and Marianna Jaskolski and graduated from high school in 1959. He was a member of the Polish Army. He emigrated to the United States in the early 1970’s.
Mr. Jaskolski was a machinist for many years with Wyman-Gordon in both Worcester and Grafton.
He was an active member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church. He worked at both the St. Andrew’s and the Saint Joseph’s festivals. He was extremely involved in helping people from Poland immigrate to the United States, finding them jobs, lodging and daily essentials. While in Poland he was part of the Solidarity Movement that eventually gained Poland its’ freedom from the USSR.
He was very good at repairing almost anything. He raised pigeons and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 26, from the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster. Burial with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street, Dudley. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling period will take place from 9:00 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home before Mass. Donations in his memory may be made to Tri-Valley Elder Care, 10 Mill Street, Dudley, MA 01571.
