Pete’s greatest love in his life was his wife Julia and his children Henry and Phoebe. In their brief yet meaningful time together as a family, they experienced fun, love, and adventures from snowy mountains to sunny beaches. They recently put down roots in Wellesley, MA. Pete was a dedicated, fun-loving, and patient father. Equally important to Pete was sharing the joy of his children with their aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Friday Pizza Nights were a staple of the Jennings crew. Pete’s family is dedicated to carrying on his memory and ensuring his children understand the depth of his character.
Pete was a 2008 graduate of Wellesley High School where he was a standout athlete. He captained both the football and lacrosse teams and received numerous awards for both sports, most notably All American and State Champion in lacrosse. Pete was also the recipient of the Senior Cup at his Wellesley High graduation. Pete was a 2012 graduate of Middlebury College where he was a four-year member of the lacrosse team and voted team captain his senior year. At Middlebury and throughout his life, Pete made lifelong friends who vow to honor his memory and carry his spirit into the future.
Pete’s family and friends relied on him to know the right thing to do. He was a trusted friend, a role model for his brothers, a thoughtful husband and son, and had a clever and good-hearted sense of humor.
