Vanessa brought light wherever she went. Above all, Vanessa was a mother. Her greatest pride and deepest love was her son, Argelis, who carries forward her courage, her kindness, and that unmistakable spark in his smile. She shared a steadfast, 17-year partnership with Ruben, a love story built on laughter, resilience, and a thousand small gestures that meant everything.
Vanessa is also survived by her devoted mother, Carmen who loved her without limitation and whose unwavering and undying love, endless sacrifices, and constant care were a guiding force throughout her life; Her Brother Antonio Jr. who she shared a special bond with, whose love, protection, and devotion to her remained steadfast throughout her life. Her sister Betsy whose love was steadfast, whose sacrifices were endless, and whose devotion was unmatched. Her Father, Antonio; brother, Anthony and sisters, Eloisa Melody; and a wide circle of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who became family. To each of them—and to so many others—she was the life of the party, a shoulder to lean on, a loyal confidant, and a burst of sunshine on the cloudiest day.
Vanessa was a dancer and a singer. Joy incarnate—Vanessa lived artfully and loved abundantly. She taught us to seize the moment, to laugh from the belly, to dance even when no music is playing. Her legacy is written in the joy she sparked, the hope she nurtured, and the love she gave so generously.
Vanessa was the kind of person who made life feel brighter, louder, and infinitely more fun. She was vibrant, hilarious, and unapologetically goofy, always finding a way to make the people around her laugh until they cried. Whether she was cracking jokes, dancing around without a care, or turning ordinary moments into unforgettable adventures, Vanessa brought an energy that was impossible to ignore. She lived with a joyful spirit that made every day feel exciting, and her love for fun, laughter, and spontaneity touched everyone lucky enough to know her. The world feels quieter without her, but her laughter and light will stay with us forever. Though our hearts are heavy, we will honor her by living as she did: with open arms, fearless laughter, and a spirit that refuses to dim. Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St, (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Thursday May 28 from 5-8 pm. Her family will gather again at the funeral home on Friday May 29 from 10 -11 am and then proceed to Fairview Cemetery for interment services.

Su familia se reunirá nuevamente en la funeraria el viernes 29 de mayo de 10 a 11 a. m. y luego se dirigirá al cementerio Fairview para los servicios de sepelio.
