Anthony Rossi, age 68, of North Reading passed away on Sunday, May 17th, at Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers. Born and raised in Anzano Di Puglia, Italy, he was the son of the late Marcelino and Constantina Rossi. Anthony came to the U.S. with his family in 1966, settling first in Boston’s North End. He lived in Medford for many years and worked as a laborer and member of Local 22 before moving to North Reading 5 years ago. Anthony was the dear brother of John Rossi and his late wife Ethel, Rosaria Rossi and her husband Peter, and the late Rosa Rossi. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, May 22nd from 4 to 8 PM, and again on Saturday, May 23rd at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Cemetry, Everett.
