Diane P. (Wescott) Adams, age 73, passed away on May 17, 2026 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on May 16, 1953 in Springfield, daughter of the late Harold H. Wescott and Elizabeth A. (Leavitt) Wescott. Diane was a communicant of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. She worked as a dispatcher for Verizon for over 20 years before she retired. Diane loved music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas P. Adams who passed away in 2021 and also by her sister Linda Wescott. She is survived by two sons, Christopher Adams of Ware and Craig Adams and his wife Sara of Ludlow; two daughters, Colleen Adams of Chicopee and Kathleen Caloon and her husband Thomas of Chicopee; two sisters, a sister in law and three brother in laws, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her cousin and best friend, Cheryl Wescott of Springfield along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Calling hours will be held at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St Chicopee on the morning of the funeral, Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. An in-house prayer service will take place at 10:00 AM followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Springfield.
