
Ann T. Bruno, age 93, of Peabody, MA and Naples, FL passed away on Monday, May 11th, at Brooksby Village in Peabody. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore F. and Carmela (Ferrara) Bruno. Ann was employed by Boeing and Mitre Corporations, as well as by the federal government as a systems analyst. She was Governor of the Quota Club, and an avid lover of the arts, including painting and photography. Ann especially loved music and even composed her own pieces. She also wrote poetry and a children’s book. Most of all, those who knew her will remember Ann as a very religious and philanthropic woman.
Ann was the dear sister of the late Marie Bruno, the late Anthony Bruno, and the late Francis Bruno and his surviving wife Joan. She was the cherished aunt of Michael Bruno and his wife Susan, Janet Bruno-Mosey, Lauren Bruno and her companion James Vaccaro, and James Bruno and his wife Susan. Ann was the great aunt of Connor and Alyssa Mosey, and Nicholas, Jake and Benjamin Bruno. She was the loving cousin of Elaine Ganger and her husband James, and Rosemary Kearney and her companion Mario Pacella and the late Paul Bruno.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Brooksby Village, 300 Brooksby Village Dr., Peabody, on Friday, May 29th at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. As an expression of sympathy, contributions may be sent in Ann’s name to CurePSP, online at www.psp.org.
