Donald Bryant ‘Karma’ Young, Jr., 37 of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born on May 19, 1988 in Miami, FL and was a son of Gutlande Germain of Andover, MA and the late Donald B. Young, Sr..
In Karma’s younger days, he enjoyed playing football. More recently, he loved making music, singing, and rapping. He loved being around people and had a special gift for making others laugh. He had a great sense of humor, a natural way with people, and truly cared about everyone around him.
In addition to his mother, Gutlande Germain of Andover, MA, he is survived by his children, Lydia and Damari Young and Shawn Hemingway all of Beverly, and their mother, Cassandra Howard of Beverly. He is also survived by his sister, Jennifer Young of New Hampshire, Reggie Clermont of Andover; and his 5 nieces and nephews.
He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Solange Saintoiry of Miami, FL; his uncle, Gobie Saintoiry of Miami, FL; and many other extended family and friends.
On Friday, May 22, 2026 all are welcome to attend his calling hours from 10 a.m.- 12 noon at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell 978-458-6816. His funeral service will take place at 12 noon in the funeral home, followed by procession for burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury.
