Obituary

Brien T. McDonald, 50, of Hopkins Avenue, the owner and proprietor of Able Refining, Inc. and J P. Royal Lounge, died Saturday, September 16 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

A lifelong resident of Johnston, he was a son of Edmund F. McDonald of Johnston and the late Ursula F. (O'Brien) McDonald. He attended Johnston Public Schools. He was a former member of the Laborers Int’l. Union of North America, Local 271. He enjoyed playing cards, chess and his fulfilling friendships.

Besides his father, he is survived by his immediate family members, Timothy R. McDonald of Narragansett, Thomas F. McDonald and his wife, Lisa of Johnston; devoted uncle and aunt an loving cousins as well as faithful friends.

A celebration of his life will be held Thursday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Visitation Wednesday 5-7pm.
