Center Ossipee, NH- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary E. Marx, who departed peacefully on May 14, 2026, at the age of 80 at the Gonell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME due to a long battle with lung disease and worsening congestive heart
failure. Mary enjoyed time spent with her family and going to casinos and playing bingo to try her luck anytime she could. Her other pride and joy were living in Porter Comers, NY where she and her husband built a house and lived there many years before coming to New
Hampshire to be nearer to her daughter and granddaughter. She also liked hunting for antiques whether it be in stores or using her metal detector and
then reselling her wares or finds. She was born on March 4, 1946, and raised in Elkton, MD. and was predeceased by her parents Lilly Ruth Reed and Bert Sexton and brother Ronald David Sexton. The Love of her life, husband Heinz Otto Marx Sr. died on February 9, 2009, and her loving son Heinz Otto
Marx Jr. left this world on August 16, 2024. Mary is survived by her daughter Donna Marcotte and husband Tim Marcotte, granddaughter Kiera Conrad and brother Larrie Bert Sexton and wife Carol Sexton along
with an aunt, in laws and nieces, nephews and cousins and extended family.
