John T. Gillow Jr., 83, of Derry, NH, died Thursday, May 14, 2026, in Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. He was born on June 30, 1942 in Boston, MA, a son of John and Alma (Little) Gillow. He proudly served his country as a 20 year veteran, Navy reservist (Seabees).
He is survived by three daughters, Kerri Guilmain and partner Kenneth M. Young, Kathleen T. Gillow and husband Robert Knight, and Kauleen M. Blackington and husband Jeffery Blackington; five grandchildren, Kyle Guilmain, Yazmine Knight, Kasey Guilmain, Shayla Knight, James Blackington; one great-grandchild, Connor J Guilmain; his special friend Roberta Rozamus, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He is predeceased by his wife, Kathleen (Noe) Gillow, grandson, Kamden Guilmain, his brother, James F. Gillow, and his two sisters, Ellen Gillow, and Diane Gillow.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 10:00am in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Rd., E. Derry, NH. The Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements.
