William T. Lopez has entered into his eternal rest on May 12th 2026 at the age of 71.He passed unexpectedly, after a brief illness.
He was the beloved father of Jennifer, Bonnie and Thomas. Grandfather to Jackson ,Cody, Lucas, and Gavin. He is survived by his siblings Pam ,Becky, and Dean. He preferred the name Bill, which he used all his life. He was blessed with so many interest and talents as a connoisseur and practitioner of the arts, specializing in Opera which was his forte.
He performed occasionally in the New Orleans Opera, which was in his hometown where he was born and raised. He performed around 4 years ago his 50th and last performance, receiving recognition which was one of his finest memories. Bill chose a Medical career, which eventually lead to working in the field as a Bone and Tissue Transplant Coordinator. He was later offered a position in Utah, which he accepted and his wife and 3 children left New Orleans to live in the most beautiful place to raise a family. He finally settled in Indiana years later.
He loved history and took interest in Civil War Reenactment. He was an avid Cyclist with friends in New Orleans, and an enthusiastic online commentator in movie forums.
He loved spending time with his grandsons and his children. He will be dearly missed by his family and everyone that knew him. We hope the he will be at peace.
In Lieu of Funeral Services there will be a celebration of Life at a later date.
