David A. DiLisio, aka “Dave the Candy Man Dilisio”, age 79, passed away on May 4, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 15, 1946 in Springfield, son of the late Nicholas and Marcella (Gosselin) DiLisio. David received his BA from Westfield State University. He later became the owner and operator of Fundraising Concepts for many years before he retired. He enjoyed fishing thru out New England with friends and family. When not enjoying the outdoors, he spent time supporting Elms College athletic teams. He is survived by his loving wife Francine (Guzek) DiLisio of Westfield; one brother, Michael DiLisio and his wife Sylvia of Chicopee along with his nieces and nephews, Christina DiLisio of Malden, Phil DiLisio of East Longmeadow, Ned DiLisio of New York and Luke DiLisio of Charleston. He is predeceased by his brother Robert DiLisio Esquire and by his sister, Elaine Johnson. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by an in-house Prayer Service at 11:00 AM.
