FRANKLIN ---- Debra Ann Keeler, 71, of Plains Court, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Debra was born on January 9, 1955, in Lowell, MA, the daughter of Roland and Dorothy (Litchfield) Smith.
A super-mom, Debra raised three sons, whilst ensuring they had everything they needed and more. She was beloved as the cornerstone of a large and growing family. A cornucopia of knowledge and wisdom, she always knew the right advice to give. She could always be won over with chocolate, or iced coffee, but if all you had to give was your time, that was more than enough for her, as nothing brought her as much joy as spending time with her family and friends.
Later in life, she enriched the local community as a school bus driver where she was adored by the children she worked with. Debra was also regarded as a shining light at church where she believed faith was something you lived Monday through Saturday, not just proclaimed on Sunday.
She was known by all who have had the pleasure of meeting her as a generous, caring, and compassionate woman, strong and resilient, who took great pleasure and duty in helping anyone in need.
Debra is survived by her sons, John Keeler and his fiancé Melody Drake of Concord, NH, Joseph Keeler and his wife Danielle Keeler of McAlpin, FL and Al Keeler and his wife Mandi Keeler of Northfield, NH, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Robert Smith of The Villages, FL and brother-in-law John Dunken of Belmont, NH. In addition to her parents, Debra is predeceased by her brothers Roland Smith, Jr., and Harry Smith and her sister Ethel Dunken Hibbard.
A Celebration of Life is to be held at Boscawen Congregational Church, in Boscawen, NH. Time and date to be determined.
