
Lisa A. (Hawkes) Hartigan, age 59, a resident of North Chelmsford, formerly of Tewksbury, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital from a heart related condition on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
Born in Woburn on June 30, 1966, she was the daughter of the late William R. Hawkes and the late Elaine (Brabant) Hawkes.
Lisa was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury Public schools.
She was employed for many years as an office administrator at the Beth Israel Lahey Primary Care in Billerica and later as a unit coordinator at the Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus.
Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family at the pool, gardening, cooking, and going out to breakfast. One of her greatest joys in life was being a Nana to her three grandchildren, Luke and Vera Fleury, and Elijah Brown.
She is survived by her three beloved daughters, Elaine Fleury and her husband Bryan, Emily Hartigan and her fiancé Maverick, and Lacey Moriarty and her husband Joshua. Lisa was the sister of Dianne G. Ashton and her husband Arthur, Donna M. Sperry, Sharon L. Connolly and her husband Leonard and the late William R. Hawkes, Jr. and Susan C. Carey and her surviving husband Michael. She leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Calling hours are Friday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, to be followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury. Services will conclude with interment of her ashes at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health.
