Brian Harrington, of Roslindale, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026 surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Devoted husband of Lisa (Campo) Harrington, and loving father of Megan and Brian Harrington. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary (Early) Harrington. Youngest brother of the late Johnny Harrington, and is survived by his brothers Tommy, Jimmy, and Paul Harrington, as well as many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Brian began his lifelong plumbing career after graduating from Boston Trade, working at several local plumbing companies before starting his own business, Harrington Plumbing and Heating. He then went on to join the Plumber’s Union Local 12 serving as a proud member for the remainder of his career. Brian took tremendous pride in his craft and the relationships he built through his work.
An avid sports fan, Brian always rooted for the underdog when his hometown teams were no longer in the running. He loved spending time with his dog Hunter, eating Sunday dinner with his kids, and cherished his daily rides to Dunkin’ with his wife for her afternoon coffee—a small ritual that brought him great joy. Brian had an incredible sense of humor—quick, dry, and perfectly timed—and an infectious laugh that could brighten even the toughest days.
His generosity knew no bounds, always there to help Family members, Friends, and Colleagues in need. Brian was a kind, loyal, and hardworking man who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visiting Hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Thursday, May 14th from 3-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, May 15th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
Brian had a generous heart and a deep admiration for the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through their official website.
