Bernadette K. Cribby, 78, of Westborough MA, born in Nova Scotia, Canada, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Oickle and Mary McDonald of Millis MA.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Lauren E. Cribby of Millis MA, who passed away on April 7th 2002, after 35 years of marriage.
Bernadette leaves behind her loving children: Pamela Franklin, James Cribby, and Carol Cribby. She was also the cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and proud great-grandmother of five great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her eight beloved siblings, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
She is also survived by her devoted partner and companion, Carroll “Cabby” Belanger, and his family of Westborough, Massachusetts, where they lovingly shared a home together for 11 years. Their years together were filled with companionship, care, laughter, and unwavering support.
Bernadette found joy in life’s simple pleasures and the people she loved most. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, dancing whenever she had the chance, and sharing good meals with family and friends. Bernadette especially loved gatherings that brought everyone together, as well as memorable trips to New Hampshire and exciting visits to the race track. She could often be found relaxing in her backyard, happily watching the flowers bloom and animals run free. Her warmth, laughter, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Bernadette will be remembered for her resilience, strength, and kindness she gave so freely to family and friends. Her memory will live on and in the hearts of all who knew her.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 11:00a.m.
Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Millis.
Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
