Loving Memory of Ruth Miriam Sierra
With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the peaceful ascension of our beloved mother, Ruth Miriam Sierra, whose beautiful spirit, strength, kindness, and unconditional love touched the lives of all who knew and loved her.
Ruth Miriam Sierra was born on July 22, 1953 in Manatí, Puerto Rico to her loving parents, Juana “Ana” Otero Sierra and Juan Sierra. She was raised with strong family values, compassion, resilience, and faith - qualities she carried throughout her entire life.
Ruth Miriam was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her warmth, wisdom, strength, sense of humor, loyalty and beautiful heart created lasting memories that her family, friends and those lucky to have met her will treasure forever.
She leaves behind her beloved children and daughter in law; Nancy Jocelyn Reyes, Edgar Daniel Reyes, Josymir Rivera, Joseph Nathaniel Rivera Jr. and Jessica Bonilla (Edgar’s wife)
Her cherished grandchildren; Roderick Alize Marrero, David Castro, Miguel Velasquez, Jonathan Marrero, D’Vani Reyes, Lorenzo Torres, Zeline Reyes, Jayden Reyes, Nathaniel J. Rivera, Natalie Rivera and soon to come baby Valentina

She is also survived by her loving sister, brother, and sister-in-law; Dolores Elia Amador Sierra, David Sierra, Iris Sierra (Abraham’s wife)
As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her love and kindness.
She is now reunited in eternal peace with her son Rodolfo Hernandez Sierra, and siblings Gloria Otero, Juan Sierra, Gilberto Sierra, Neftalí Sierra, Abelardo Sierra, Ramon Sierra, Abraham Sierra and Samuel Sierra
Ruth Miriam’s beautiful smile, lively spirit, unwavering love, and strength will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are deeply broken, we find comfort in knowing her love will remain with us always. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
We invite all family and friends to join us as we gather to celebrate and honor Ruth Miriam’s beautiful life, share cherished memories, and say our final goodbyes.
Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Tuesday May 19 from 5-8 pm. Her family will gather again at the funeral home on Wednesday May 20 from 10 am until 11 am and then proceed to Oaklawn Cemetery for burial services.

Con profundo dolor y amor infinito, anunciamos el sereno descanso de nuestra amada madre, Ruth Miriam Sierra, cuyo hermoso espíritu, fortaleza, bondad y amor incondicional tocaron las vidas de todos quienes la conocieron y amaron.
Ruth Miriam Sierra nació el 22 de julio de 1953 en Manatí, Puerto Rico, de sus amorosos padres, Juana “Ana” Otero Sierra y Juan Sierra. Fue criada con sólidos valores familiares, compasión, resiliencia y fe, cualidades que la sociedad acompañaron a lo largo de toda su vida.
Ruth Miriam fue una madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana, tía y querida amiga devota. Dedicó su vida a amar y cuidar a su familia, siempre poniendo las necesidades de los demás antes que las suyas. Su calidez, sabiduría, fortaleza, sentido del humor, lealtad y hermoso corazón crearon recuerdos inolvidables que su familia, amigos y todos los afortunados de haberla conocido atesorarán por siempre.
Le sobreviven sus amados hijos y nuera; Nancy Jocelyn Reyes, Edgar Daniel Reyes, Josymir Rivera, Joseph Nathaniel Rivera y Jessica Bonilla (esposa de Edgar).
Sus queridos nietos; Roderick Alize Marrero, David Castro, Miguel Velásquez, Jonathan Marrero, D’Vani Reyes, Lorenzo Torres, Zeline Reyes, Jayden Reyes, Nathaniel J. Rivera, Natalie Rivera y la próximamente llegada bebé Valentina.

Así como muchos sobrinos, sobrinas, primos, familiares extendidos y queridos amigos cuyas vidas fueron profundamente tocadas por su amor y bondad.
Ahora se ha reunido en paz eterna con su hijo Rodolfo Hernández Sierra, y sus hermanos Gloria Otero, Juan Sierra, Gilberto Sierra, Neftalí Sierra, Abelardo Sierra, Ramón Sierra, Abraham Sierra y Samuel Sierra.
La hermosa sonrisa de Ruth Miriam, su espíritu alegre, su amor inquebrantable y su fortaleza nunca serán olvidados. Aunque nuestros corazones están profundamente quebrantados, encontramos consuelo en saber que su amor permanecerá con nosotros para siempre. Su memoria vivirá por siempre en los corazones de todos los que la conocieron y amaron.

Horario de visitas en la funeraria Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower St. (frente a la estación MBTA de Forest Hills), Jamaica Plain, el martes 19 de mayo de 5 a 8 p. m. Su familia se reunirá nuevamente en la funeraria el miércoles 20 de mayo de 10 a. m. a 11 a. m. y luego se dirigirá al cementerio Oaklawn para los servicios de entierro.
