Mrs. Margaret (Muise) Brady, known to many as Peggy, a longtime resident of Medford, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. She was 99 years old.
Born in Wakefield, Massachusetts on August 17, 1926, she was the beloved daughter of the late William H. and Frances R. (Robicheau) Muise. Margaret was a past member of Teamsters Local 25 while employed by Schrafft's in Charlestown as a Production Line worker for many years. She retired from Gillette Safety Razor Division as Production Line Inspector, after 23 years of service. She was a dedicated employee who never missed a day of work.
In her spare time, she had a true passion for sewing. She shared this passion with her best friend of over 70 years, Eva. She assisted Eva in running a successful monogramming business that served the Everett community and surrounding towns. During her younger years she loved to ice skate and roller skate. If you happened to dine at the Big Burger Ranch on Revere Beach Parkway around 1961, she may have delivered your order on wheels. Margaret found joy in many things throughout her life. She never missed an opportunity to gather with family and friends. Above all, Margaret was a devoted and proud mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Her love and laughter will be dearly missed.
Margaret is survived by her son, David A. Brady of Medford, granddaughter, Kimberly (Brady) Grinev and her husband Roman of Frederick, Maryland, great-grandson, Zachary Grinev of Frederick, Maryland, sister, Jenny (Muise) Brault of Carlsbad, California, daughter-in-law, Christine (Karalekas) Nagar of Israel, sister-in-law, Frances (Fucci) Muise of Malden and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and lifelong friends. She was also the mother of the late Richard F. Brady, Jr. and sister of the late Earl Muise of Malden, Lena (Muise) Brooks of Wakefield, Irene Muise of Boston and John Muise and his wife Jean (Nuzzo) Muise of Wilmington.
Her funeral will be from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM.
