Rev. Robert L. Keane, SJ of Weston on May 5, 2026. Son of the late Lawrence J. & Dorothy (Reynolds) Keane. Brother of Andrea Burke, Patricia Kennedy and the late Paul M. Keane. After teaching at the College of the Holy Cross, he became a US Navy Chaplain, serving more than two decades at various locales, mostly as Command Chaplain. After retiring from the Navy, he served as Rector of the Boston College Jesuit Community, serving later at the Jesuit retirement center in Marion Station, PA. Predeceased by his nephew Maj. Matthew P. Burke, he is survived by nieces and nephews as well as his many Jesuit Brothers. Reposing at Campion Center, 319 Concord Rd., WESTON. Concelebrated Funeral Mass in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Campion Center on Friday May 15 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are also welcome to attend a period of visitation in the chapel from 9 am- 10 am prior to the Funeral Mass. Interment in the Jesuit Cemetery. Weston with Military Honors.
